Job Title: Facilities Attendant Part Time

The Township of Pine is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Facilities Attendant Part Time. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our community center and township building.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to Township colleagues, supervisors, guests, and the general public.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Support customers during evening and weekend events, including setup, breakdown, and clean-up.
  • Assist team members with event setup and teardown, including rental preparations and equipment management.
  • Remove debris from parking lots, sidewalks, and surrounding areas.
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and maintain supply levels.
  • Maintain sidewalks and surrounding areas, ensuring they are clear and safe.
  • Perform daily cleaning supply maintenance and restocking.
  • Exercise caution and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year of relative experience preferred.
Clearance Requirements:
  • FBI Fingerprinting Clearance.
  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
  • PA Criminal Background Check Clearance.
  • Mandated Reporter Certification.
  • Valid PA Driver's License.
  • Acceptable State Driver Motor Vehicle History Report.
Physical and Mental Demands:

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Moving and controlling heavy cleaning equipment.
  • Maneuvering to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Handling and moving objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
  • Tolerating cleaning and chemical odors.

The mental demands include:

  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Observing and interpreting situations.
  • Reading and interpreting data and documents.
  • Communicating with Township colleagues, guests, and the public.
Other Qualifications:
  • Able to commute between two locations within a quarter mile.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable and trustworthy, with a comfortable working atmosphere.
  • Prioritization of assigned tasks.
