About the Role:

Tellus Solutions is seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our client's manufactured test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support client manufactured test equipment by performing mechanical measurements of precision milled and turned sub-miniature high frequency electronic parts to ensure functionality and accuracy.
  • Apply technical skills directly to resolve quality-related issues and improve processes.
  • Work within the designated area of expertise to clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting client technicians and Process Engineers.

Requirements:

  • This position requires some education, and/or specialized training/certification.
  • Must have a background in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and be able to read blueprints.
  • Must have an understanding of mechanical metrology hand tool usage.
  • Experience using automated software platforms is a plus. Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
  • Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates electronic and mechanical competence.
  • Works with clearly defined objectives.
  • Solves technical problems of limited scope and complexity.
  • Exhibits the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of people.
  • Adheres to the highest standards of business ethics.
  • Provides consistent, solid contribution to team delivery goals.
  • Exercises good discretion in the use of time and other client resources.
  • Maintains high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments.

Preferences:

  • Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers is preferred.
  • 3D modeling knowledge with NX, Solidworks, or other software is a plus.
