Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Physician Psychiatrist to join our team in Brighton, MI. As an attending physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Inpatient unit and Adult Partial Hospital program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide attending physician services for patients in the Inpatient Clinical Services Program and Adult Partial Hospital program.
  • Conduct new patient evaluations, manage psychotropic medication, collaborate with other clinicians, and communicate with referring providers.
  • Maintain a caseload and patient schedule consistent with department standards and expectations.
  • Provide education and training to health professionals within the department and across the hospital system.
  • Participate in supervision, case reviews, and team meetings with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Treat patients, families, co-workers, and visitors with respect and empathy.
  • Complete patient-related documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of and compliance with hospital and department policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in meetings and activities as a member of the psychiatry service.
  • Identify and assist in resolving problems related to safety, sanitation, and maintenance of the environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and promote a positive work environment.
  • Maintain a productivity rate in accordance with department and/or program policy.
