Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Service Operations Technician 3 to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on our digital and electro-mechanical systems. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the reliability and performance of our equipment, and in providing exceptional support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough examinations of wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings to identify and repair complex system issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electro-mechanical assemblies, using specialized testing equipment and diagnostic software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve system failures, and to implement process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to provide timely updates on repair status and to address any concerns.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to use office and test equipment in a typical office/light manufacturing environment.
- Repetitive motion, substantial continual motion.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, depth, and ability to adjust focus.
