About the Role:

Park Place Technologies is seeking a skilled Associate Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for developing and contributing to cutting-edge solutions using the latest technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software according to requirements and quality standards.

  • Build and maintain high-performing, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to develop solutions that meet specific business objectives.
  • Understand business requirements, designs, and wireframes.
  • Work directly with QA Analysts and Engineers to ensure proper tests are designed.
  • Support, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
  • Be a strong problem solver and possess an excellent work ethic and attitude.
  • Collaborate, share, and learn from team members.
  • Function as an excellent team player.
  • Demonstrate willingness to work on your craft and take initiative in learning new skills.
  • Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Visual Studio, GIT, and Azure DevOps.
  • 2+ years of application development experience or equivalent skills.
  • Proficiency in .NET Framework/Core, Angular, C#, SCSS/SASS, SQL, Test Driven Development/Unit Testing, Typescript, ES6, Web API/Rest.
  • Bonus points for experience with Agile Methodology, Asynchronous Programming, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure PAAS, Browser Compatibility Testing, Cosmos DB, CQRS Pattern, Dependency Injection, Entity Framework & LINQ, MicroServices, OData, Python.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree is preferred.
