Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Academic Support Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting weekly group sessions aimed at reinforcing programming concepts and techniques.
  • Evaluating and providing feedback on homework submissions.
  • Offering scheduled one-on-one tutoring sessions to students, ensuring a maximum commitment of five hours per week.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Completion of advanced programming coursework is essential.
  • Proficiency in various programming languages is required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual communication platforms for student interactions.
  • Ability to exercise discretion in the grading process.
  • Access to the course management system utilized by instructors is necessary.

  • No travel is necessary for this position.

Compensation:

Maximum Salary: USD $3,000.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary: USD $2,400.00/Yr.
