Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Generator Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of emergency generators and associated electrical systems. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of our power generation systems, providing critical back-up power to support life safety equipment, fire suppression, food storage, water and heating systems, and IT technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs of emergency generators and associated electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and belt replacements.
  • Monitor and maintain generator performance, ensuring optimal operation and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure seamless integration of emergency power systems with other critical systems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in generator maintenance and repair.
  • ASE certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
  • Strong understanding of electricity and electrical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment breakdowns and failures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
