About the Job:
This is a paid and benefitted full-time position that begins with an accelerated 12-week training program delivered in partnership with Colby-Sawyer College. Participants will be trained by the Dartmouth Hitchcock Workforce Readiness Institute and certified through National Healthcareer Association as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical duties such as taking vital signs, giving injections, performing simple diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms at an outpatient care site. This role is fast-paced, interesting, and patient safety guides every interaction.

Responsibilities:
- Take vital signs and record patient information
- Administer injections and medications as prescribed by clinicians
- Perform simple diagnostic tests, such as EKGs and urine dips
- Collect specimens and prepare them for laboratory analysis
- Draw blood and perform phlebotomy procedures
- Sterilize and clean equipment, and maintain examination rooms

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to lift patients and stand for long periods
