Position Overview- Specialty: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery

Key Details:
• Compensation: $130 per hour.
• Coverage: Immediate start with potential for extension.
• Qualifications: Candidates must possess RNFA Certification if applying as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Work Environment: Hospital and clinic settings.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, operating room hours from 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM; inpatient rounding from 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM.
• Daily Duties: Responsibilities include inpatient rounding and assisting in the operating room. The number of cases will dictate the assignment of providers to OR and rounding duties.
• Skills Required: Proficiency in pulling epicardial wires, chest tubes, vein harvesting, and experience in endoscopic vessel harvesting (EVH) and first assisting is essential. Radial artery harvest experience is also required.
• Call Responsibilities: 1:4 rotation among providers, with limited weekday calls and weekend rounding obligations.
• Patient Load: Typically, 2 OR cases per day for rounding providers.
• Electronic Medical Records: Experience with Epic is preferred.
• Credentialing: Anticipated timeframe of 45-60 days upon submission of application.
Requirements:
• Active, unrestricted Oregon license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Board certification is mandatory.
• Vaccination, including booster, is required.
• Full-time commitment is essential; deviations from the established schedule are not permitted.
• Candidates must provide at least two supervisory references.
