Job Title: Telecom Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Lineman to join our team in Kapolei, Hawaii. As a Telecom Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for performing overhead and underground low-voltage line construction and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overhead and Underground Line Construction: Perform installation and repair of telecom infrastructure, including fiber optic and copper cabling.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain equipment under the direction of a Line Foreman.
  • Driving and Equipment Operation: Drive trucks and operate equipment, including stringing equipment, backhoes, derrick diggers, material handlers, and aerial lift devices.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload material, and stock truck with stock for daily job assignments.
  • Climbing and Aerial Work: Climb poles and work from aerial personnel-lift devices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Driver's License: Must hold a valid Class A or B endorsement.
  • DOT Physical Certification: Must be able to pass and continue to pass a DOT physical.
  • Lineman Certification: Certification from a lineman school is desired but not required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background Check and Drug Screen: Must pass a background check and drug screens.
  • Reliability and Time Management: Must be able to show up for work daily and on time.

Benefits and Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Work Environment:

The work environment conditions described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. This position works primarily in the field and is exposed to all types of weather conditions, including temperature extremes and rainy environments. Outdoor settings involve various property and site conditions, including open spaces, timberlands, urban developments, flat and hilly terrain, building construction sites, and road rights of way.
