RN Emergency Services Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an RN Fellow in Emergency Services at Providence Newberg Medical Center. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $41.74-$60.25 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, and bonus incentives.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing and evaluating patient needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and educating patients and families on health maintenance and disease management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association certification within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
- A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in emergency services or a related field.
