At Kaiser Permanente, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Specialist to join our team in Wilsonville, Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our members.
About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and organized individual to facilitate a timely and orderly process of serving our patients from appointment and provider scheduling to completion of office visit information. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Patient Communication: Effectively communicate with members and other office employees, providing clear and concise information about their care.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule patient appointments, maintain current daily schedules, and ensure all dental records are available according to updated printed schedules.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Experience: Six (6) months health care/dental care or six (6) months cash handling and/or customer service experience in a high volume customer service environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- Licenses and Certifications: None required.
- Dental Office Experience: Two (2) years dental office experience preferred.
- Computer Skills: Dental office and computer skills preferred.
The estimated salary for this role is between $50,000 and $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
