Position Overview

Employment Type: FULL TIME (MONDAY-FRIDAY)

Salary Range: $21-$25

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the admissions processes in collaboration with the Senior Admissions Coordinator.
  • Evaluate potential residents for suitability to the facility.
  • Serve as the primary contact for hospital discharge planners, social services, and other referral entities.
  • Ensure all admission paperwork is completed accurately, including Admission Agreements and Assignment of Benefits.
  • Educate patients and their families about facility policies, procedures, and Resident Rights.
  • Stay informed about relevant federal and state regulations impacting the admissions department.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone and email regarding available programs and bed capacity.
  • Maintain communication with the referral network.
  • Conduct facility tours for prospective residents, families, and representatives from placement agencies.
  • Confirm patient insurance coverage prior to admission, ensuring clarity on primary and secondary payment sources.
