Key Responsibilities

In the capacity of Senior Tax Manager, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Providing expert guidance to family offices and multi-generational clients on a wide array of tax services, including structuring, modeling, succession planning, and compliance.
  • Leading a dedicated engagement team focused on various taxation aspects, including entity, individual, fiduciary, and gift/estate taxation.

  • Proactively identifying client needs and collaborating with colleagues across specialties to enhance client relationships and drive growth.

QualificationsBasic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • CPA license or equivalent credentials (J.D. or enrolled agent with regional tax leader approval).
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting, particularly in private client taxation.
  • Recent experience in leading client engagements and driving growth.
  • Proficiency in either entity or individual taxation, with a solid understanding of complex investments and their tax implications.
  • Familiarity with multi-state taxation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • LL.M. in Taxation or a Master's in Taxation.
  • Experience in gift and estate taxation.
