Outpatient Counselor

Cumberland Heights Foundation, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide essential services to individuals and families struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

The Outpatient Counselor will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. This role requires a strong understanding of addiction counseling principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and develop treatment plans
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions to support patient recovery and well-being
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in regular team meetings and supervision to ensure high-quality care and adherence to organizational policies

• Master's degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, psychology, social work) or LADAC I certification
• One year of experience in addiction treatment or a related field
• Strong knowledge of addiction counseling principles and evidence-based practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
