Job Summary

Cumberland Heights Foundation, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Counselor to join our team. As an Outpatient Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive addiction treatment services to individuals and families affected by substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Evaluation and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough clinical evaluations to assess patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Counseling and Education: Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions, as well as educational programs to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Supervision and Training: Provide clinical supervision and training to junior staff members, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in a related field, such as counseling, psychology, or social work.
  • Experience: One year of experience in addiction treatment, preferably in an outpatient setting.
  • Certifications/Licenses: LADAC I certification required; LADAC II preferred. LCSW, LPC-MHSP, or equivalent preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse populations, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
