Blood Collection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Blood Collection Specialist to join our team at Luke. This role is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum
Job Description:- Adhere to quality of performance encompassed in standards of the American Association of Blood Banks and the Federal Food and Drug Administration
- Perform various standardized procedures including phlebotomy, measuring vital signs and hemoglobin levels, and performing quality control of equipment utilized
- Organize blood collection stations to assure adequate quantities and varieties of sets, needles, lancets, tubes, alcohol, gauze, bandages, and other necessary supplies are available
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate
- Degree: Certificate & GED/High School Diploma
- BLS certification through American Heart Association, hands-on course
- One year of experience within the last two years as a full-time Phlebotomist in a hospital, blood-bank, pathology, or laboratory environment
Working Conditions:
- Services shall be provided between the hours of 0600 and 1600 Monday through Friday for an 8 period
