The Auto Parts Merchandising Specialists play a crucial role in pinpointing product opportunities and conducting thorough research to propose new additions to our automotive category offerings. This position also involves assisting in the formulation of pricing strategies and trend analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Merchandising and Senior Category Specialists to curate new product lines and individual products.
  • Integrate new products into inventory systems.
  • Update the company’s ERP system with detailed information about new products.
  • Provide the Copywriting team with all necessary details regarding new products.
  • Coordinate with the Photography team to obtain new product images from vendors.
  • Research and recommend complementary products and cross-sells for category items.
  • Engage with vendors to acquire additional information and images as required.
  • Monitor existing vendors for their latest product offerings.
  • Identify necessary updates and corrections for the website, including:
    • Investigating fitment/application concerns.
    • Coordinating photo adjustments as necessary.
    • Recognizing updates related to vehicle year and model.
  • And much more.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Specific Skills: Team-oriented with effective time management abilities. Knowledge of auto parts is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Attention to detail is critical.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Passion for automotive topics and basic understanding of auto parts.
