Automotive Body Repair Specialist

The Faulkner Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team at Collision Harrisburg. As a Body Shop Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating collision damage and performing body repair on vehicles.
This process begins with testing and checking vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage. You will work closely with the estimator to determine the cost of the repair.
Repairs may include straightening bent bodies, replacing body parts, removing dents and damaged panels, and refinishing the metal using various tools.
Collision experience is preferred, but we will consider graduates from respected automotive collision programs. Our Collision Centers are air-conditioned to ensure the comfort of our employees.
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, automotive collision training, and a commitment to excellent customer service. You must also be able to work well with co-workers, have strong detail orientation, and be able to understand manufacturer's specifications.
Selected candidates must be able to perform all job functions that require bending, standing, lifting, and reaching. They must also be available to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
