$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As an Eligibility Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for verifying clients' insurance benefits and eligibility to ensure coverage for services provided. You will analyze benefit issues and recommend courses of action, assist clients with AHCCCS eligibility and enrollment, verify and update demographic information in the electronic health record, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years direct experience with the AHCCCS application process.
  • Insurance verification eligibility experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and maintaining confidentiality of protected health information.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience using electronic health records (EHR) required.
