Senior Transit Planner

At Trilon, we believe that infrastructure has the power to transform communities for the better. We're seeking a seasoned Senior Transit Planner or Project Manager to join our team and help drive innovative transportation planning solutions across the western United States.
Responsibilities:- Lead complex transportation planning projects, including transit alignment and mode analyses, PEL or NEPA planning, corridor plans, and active transportation plans.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to develop and implement transportation plans that enhance mobility and quality of life.
- Research and implement best practices in transportation planning, leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences, preparing clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Support public engagement efforts, working with our team to develop and implement outreach strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in urban planning or a related field (required); master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in transportation planning, with a focus on transit planning and project management.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects and teams, with a strong understanding of transportation planning principles and practices.
- Experience working with public agencies, transit systems, and other stakeholders to develop and implement transportation plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
