We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Mount Carmel, a member of Trinity Health. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by reprocessing reusable medical equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform decontamination and sterilization processes to ensure the cleanliness and safety of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and sterilizers.
  • Inspect and test medical equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
  • Document and track the sterilization and decontamination process.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the timely delivery of sterilized equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Healthcare industry certifications preferred.
