Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Technician to join our team at the U.S. Pacific Fleet. As a Supply Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a designated group of pack-up kit aviation assets and requisition material for new and increased allowances.
  • Ensure allowance increases and decreases are loaded to the Stock Item Record in the Navy, Enterprise Resource Planning database and the Master Record File in the Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System database.
  • Arrange for disposition of excess stock and track and cancel outstanding dues.
  • Ensure the timely submission of requisitions into the Department of Defense supply system to satisfy high priority requirements as well as deficiencies existing in the pack-up kit.
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
Qualifications
  • GS-7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • GS-6: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
