Position Overview:
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) plays a vital role within the clinical team at ENTAA-Care, a division of Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians LLC. This position is dedicated to enhancing patient health by delivering high-quality care to individuals of all ages with conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, as well as issues concerning hearing, balance, allergies, and skin.
Work Schedule:
Full Time (32 hours per week)
Daytime Hours
No Weekend Shifts Required
Educational Requirements:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED is mandatory.
Experience Requirements:
At least one (1) year of experience in a clinical environment or medical office is required. Experience in ENT or Allergy fields is preferred.
Certification and Licensure:
Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program is essential.
Current certification in basic life support (BLS) is required.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly desirable; basic computer skills are necessary.
Ability to execute routine tasks with minimal oversight.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with staff, physicians, patients, families, and external organizations to foster trust and cooperation.
A high degree of patience, tolerance, and diplomacy is required to manage interactions under pressure.
Professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude are essential. Initiative and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
