Job Summary

As an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive work environment. This position requires a skilled nurse who can work within the nursing process to provide direct care to assigned patients, while also serving as a role model to promote quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure patient-centered care and effective communication
  • Participate in orientation and training programs to maintain knowledge and skills in patient care and safety
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and medical records
Requirements
  • 1 year of direct nursing experience in a hospital setting
  • RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement
  • Current certification in CPR for Healthcare/BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Arrhythmia
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
