The projected compensation range for this position is $120,633-$148,997. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this role and is just one component of Highbury Defense's total compensation package for employees.

Job Description
In this critical role as System Architectural Specialist for Naval SATCOM Systems, you will be instrumental in driving the development of WAM performance requirements documents. Your expertise will be leveraged in coordinating specifications reviews, adjudicating comments, and providing document updates. Additionally, you will support the WAMS program team in developing program acquisition documents and other technical documentation. Your participation in contractor design reviews, including SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR, will ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Furthermore, your evaluation of vendor Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and assistance in the development of WAMS test plans and procedures will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional results.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent writing and verbal skills, as well as email etiquette. You should be a proactive self-starter, work well independently, and collaborate effectively with teams in a dynamic environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Visio, is also essential. Experience with Navy SATCOM systems, networking protocols, requirements management, and the DoD Acquisition Life Cycle, including Systems Engineering design reviews, is highly desirable. An active Secret Clearance is required for this position.
