Position Summary:

Bravo Recruiting Solutions Corp is in search of a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a temporary contract role. The SLP will be tasked with evaluating and treating individuals facing challenges related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing. This role is crucial in helping clients enhance their communication abilities and overall well-being.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Performing thorough assessments to evaluate clients' speech and language capabilities.
  • Creating and executing tailored treatment strategies to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Delivering therapeutic interventions aimed at improving speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing functions.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and family members, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Tracking and documenting client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Maintaining detailed records of client evaluations and treatment outcomes.
  • Educating clients and their families on effective communication techniques and strategies.
  • Staying informed about the latest developments and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Upholding ethical and professional standards as outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and other relevant bodies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Valid state licensure or certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage with individuals across various age groups and backgrounds.
  • Experience in diverse clinical environments and with various populations.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.
  • Empathy and compassion towards clients and their families.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Bilingual capabilities in a second language.
  • Experience working with pediatric or elderly populations.
  • Familiarity with assistive communication technologies.
