Position Overview:
Join Raytheon Technologies as a Field Service Engineer (FSE) dedicated to supporting the F-35B/F135 operations. This role is integral to ensuring the success of our military aviation initiatives, requiring a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support for F-35B/F135 systems, tooling, materials, and processes, engaging directly with engine hardware and software, aircraft, and squadron personnel.
- Maintain thorough reporting on operational activities, including aircraft and engine status, flight reports, and parts consumption.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to assist various Marine Fighter-Attack Squadrons and logistics departments in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.
- Utilize initiative and analytical skills to identify problems, conduct investigations, and coordinate solutions with key stakeholders.
- Adhere to Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) protocols while participating in Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) initiatives.
- Be prepared for extensive travel to support customer deployments, including domestic and international assignments, as well as shipboard operations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred; however, candidates with 9+ years of aviation maintenance experience may be considered.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in engine or aircraft maintenance, logistics, and support is desired.
- Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the F135 engine and associated programs, including Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
- Knowledge of turbine engine theory and operation.
- Understanding of U.S. Marine Corps aviation operations and structure.
