We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Physician to lead our team as an Intensivist Medical Director at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity with 15, 12-hour shifts per month, in addition to administrative responsibilities. As an Intensivist Medical Director, you will oversee all full or part-time Intensivists and Advanced Practice Providers, ensuring high-quality patient care and excellent teamwork.
You will be responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives, fostering strong relationships with physicians, facility leadership, and clinical staff, developing and implementing ICC standards and protocols, and providing peer support to the Intensivist team members.

About the FacilitySt. Mark's Hospital is a 317-bed Level II Trauma Certified hospital, serving as a tertiary care hub for a network of eight hospitals. We offer a robust medical staff, including intensivists, hospitalists, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, general/trauma surgery, orthopedic surgery, ob/gyn, and many more outstanding physicians.

Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000 - $300,000, based on MGMA data and industry benchmarking. We offer an excellent benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, 401k with company match, disability, CME allowance and days, and discounted HCA stock purchase. Incentive packages are also available, including relocation and signing incentives in most circumstances.
