Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist provides critical airway management, administers nebulized medications, and applies oxygen therapy under physician orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory therapy, communicating with physicians and healthcare teams.
- Manage patient airways, administer medications, and apply oxygen therapy within the scope of practice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- 1 Year of Clinical Experience in Respiratory Therapy (Preferred)
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Required)
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and NC Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) Certifications (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification (Required within 1 year of hire)
Work Schedule:
7p-7a, with every third weekend and call requirements.
