Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CPR Training Specialist to join our team at Life EMS Ambulance. As a CPR Training Specialist, you will play a critical role in the implementation and instruction of American Heart Association (AHA) programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement AHA-approved CPR and First Aid courses, providing direct instruction to students and mentoring instructors or student instructors.
  • Assist the Director of Education in achieving department goals and educational quality initiatives.
  • Review student performance during course instruction and maintain accurate records.
  • Attend meetings as requested by the Director of Education and represent Life EMS as an AHA Training Center Faculty member.
  • Assist in the instruction of CPR Instructor Courses as requested by the Director of Education.
Requirements
  • AHA BLS Instructor certification.
  • Evidence of instructor experience and outstanding leadership and communications skills.
  • Ability to effectively educate individuals ranging from the lay public to experienced healthcare professionals.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and maintain a valid State of Michigan driver's license with a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Must pass all Life EMS pre-employment requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination (highly encouraged).
Physical Demands

The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and have specific vision abilities required by the job, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
