Job Description

\

The Regional Sales Leader will be responsible for expanding our market presence, building relationships with key clients, and driving sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. This role involves research on a continuous basis to identify target accounts and applications that can benefit from our products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a resource to account managers to present, educate, specify, and implement product solutions.\
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.\
  • Report on the status of product sales in their respective region using CRM software.\
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop regional strategies aimed at increasing market share and achieving financial objectives.\
  • Maintain growth trajectory and continued margin enhancement to overall products.\
  • Coordinate frequent calls on end users and distributors.\
  • Complete frequent visits with current and potential clients to assist with customer needs.\
  • Manage CRM database and ensure local sales group is utilizing quotation functionality and customer contact database functionality.\
  • Establish and review budget goals weekly with Director of Business Development.\
  • Assist in pricing strategies specific to regions with national considerations.\
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Review (QBR) with top 10 clients.\
  • Provide timely monthly report to management to demonstrate successes, challenges, status of sales by product and growth initiatives currently underway.\
  • Average salary for this position is approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.\
  • This role requires travel domestically at minimum 60% of the time based on a 40-hour work week using the quickest available mode of transportation.\
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer are also required.\
  • The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field and 7 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the region or industry of focus.\
  • Prior gasket and bolts industry experience is preferred.\
  • Experience working with manufacturing facilities, customers, and suppliers in multiple global regions is a plus.\
  • The Regional Sales Leader must know how to operate CRM software and have knowledge of Computerized Information Systems including software and hardware to adapt to current and future system implementations.\
  • The selected candidate must have mental capacity to solve complex problems with a highly developed sense of urgency.\
