Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform splicing, balancing, activation, and troubleshooting of signal paths for new coaxial installations and ongoing projects, primarily utilizing .625 and .875 coax sizes.
  • Optimize node performance and demonstrate familiarity with harmonic nodes.
  • Document and report daily activities using digital tools such as Email and Excel.
  • Work hours typically range from 40 to 50 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in the safe operation of aerial lift bucket trucks and ladders; climbing is optional.
  • Ability to work safely within public rights-of-way, adhering to PPE guidelines.
  • Possession of personal hand tools, including coring tools; tools may be provided based on experience.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Experience using Time Domain Reflectometers (TDR).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Reliable attendance, with the ability to start work at 7 AM.
  • Availability for on-call duties for after-hours emergencies.
  • Basic proficiency in Email and MS Excel for project tracking.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must pass drug screening and background checks.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to read and comprehend technical documentation.
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is preferred, although training is available for selected candidates.
