Job Summary

The Roll-Off Driver is a critical member of the Athens Services team, responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on container delivery, recycling, residential, commercial, or industrial routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a heavy-duty truck to deliver containers to various locations, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage container inventory, tracking and reporting any discrepancies or issues.
  • Collaborate with dispatch and other teams to coordinate routes and schedules.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy containers and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with logistics software.
