Position Overview:
This role focuses on delivering essential financial counseling services tailored for military personnel and their families. The selected candidate will be responsible for addressing immediate financial needs arising from military assignments and transitions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive personal financial counseling to military service members and their families at various installations.
2. Assist clients in developing effective spending plans, particularly during extended absences.
3. Create and distribute informative financial resources to enhance financial literacy among service members and their families.
4. Organize and facilitate a diverse range of Personal Financial Management workshops covering topics relevant to the military lifecycle, including pre- and post-deployment financial planning.
5. Respond to requests for age-appropriate financial education sessions.
6. Utilize virtual counseling methods and electronic communication tools to deliver services effectively.
7. Manage situations requiring immediate attention in accordance with Department of Defense protocols.
8. Collaborate with installation leadership and participate in regular supervision to discuss trends and challenges faced by service members.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required; an associate degree with relevant experience may be considered.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial counseling is necessary.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens and fluent in English.
- Certification as an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) is required.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is between $53,125 and $84,995, depending on individual qualifications and experience. This role may also offer short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package to support overall well-being.
