We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Soliant. As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with functional limitations and promoting independence in school-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living. Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' functional limitations and promote independence.
- Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, sensory integration activities, and adaptive equipment training.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate occupational therapy goals into the classroom and support students' academic success. Monitor student progress, document therapy sessions, and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
- Qualifications and Requirements: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, North Carolina state license or eligibility for licensure, and previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
