Position Title: Coach Cleaner

Supervisor: Car Shop Foreman

Employment Type: Seasonal

Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Salary Range: $17-$20/hr.

Location: Durango, CO

Position Summary

The Coach Cleaner role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of train cars, facilities, and areas utilized by both employees and passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning of buildings, train cars, and other business locations within Colorado for both staff and passengers.
  • Execute scheduled sanitization of facilities and train cars in alignment with the American Heritage Railways COVID-19 Return to Business policy.
  • Restock cleaning and maintenance supplies as necessary throughout the property.
  • Report any conditions or items requiring repairs and maintenance to supervisors.
  • Assist with additional Car Shop maintenance tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic are essential.
  • Ability to adhere to safety protocols and comply with company policies.
  • Efficient time management skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Work Conditions
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including potential overtime.
  • Capability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Comfortable with climbing ladders and working at heights of up to 12 feet.
  • Able to stand, walk, and lift items weighing up to 15 pounds throughout the majority of the shift.
