Position Overview

The Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and sanitation within the organization. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough cleaning of hallways, classrooms, offices, and restrooms, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash containers across all areas and ensuring proper maintenance of the facility.
  • Communicate with management regarding any necessary repairs or improvements needed for building systems.
  • Clear snow and debris from walkways and apply ice melt as required to ensure safety.
  • Conduct daily disinfection of all occupied spaces using approved cleaning agents to uphold health standards.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED with a minimum of six months of relevant experience in custodial or maintenance roles.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly wage ranges from $19.18 to $20.56, commensurate with experience and education. Benefits include:
