Class A CDL Driver

Job Summary:
Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a reliable and hard-working Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Kenner, LA. As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for servicing grease traps and used cooking oil bins across New Orleans, including the French Quarters and other metropolitan locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a vacuum truck to service large grease traps and small under-sink grease traps.
  • Navigate tight and narrow roads, connecting up to 10 hoses.
  • Drive and operate a straight truck, with training provided for oil-water separator tractor-trailers.
  • Follow all DOT, state regulations, and company safety policies.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of commercial or military driving experience.
  • Valid CDL Class A License.
  • Tanker Endorsement is required before the first day of employment.
  • Vacuum truck experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs or more.
  • No more than two moving violations within the past three years.
  • No more than one DOT recordable accident within the past three years.
  • Medically qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle.

Work Schedule:

  • 10-12 hour shifts, 4-5 days a week.
  • Shift time: 3:30 AM start, with shifts lasting up to 12-15 hours hours per week).

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay starts at $22.75 per hour with ample overtime; pay is negotiable based on vacuum truck experience.
