CDL Driver Apprentice

Ag Partners Cooperative Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CDL Driver Apprentice to join our team. As a CDL Driver Apprentice, you will be responsible for completing all necessary coursework and on-the-job training as outlined in the Ag Partners' CDL Driver Apprenticeship Appendix.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements.
• Perform driving duties properly and in accordance with work orders given.
• Load and unload products safely and properly in accordance with quality standards.
• Maintain customer records and truck log per DOT regulations.
• Gain good working knowledge of agricultural products being handled.
• Work with supervisor and co-workers to keep errors to a minimum.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Consistently follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules (including PPE) in handling products.
• Assist with the maintenance of equipment and plant.
• Maintain positive communication with the supervisor and customer as needed.
• Properly complete necessary paperwork and records.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or 3-5 years of previous experience with diverse agribusiness firms.
• Basic computer operation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
