Job Title: Procurement Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting stakeholders in procuring services in compliance with policies and procedures. This includes managing the development of RFx documents, scoring tools, and identifying prospective applicants/organizations/proposers/vendors. The Procurement Agent will also facilitate and manage the solicitation process, monitor proposal submissions, and perform administrative review of proposals.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field, and previous experience as a Procurement Agent or in a similar position. Proficiency in CRM and inventory management software programs is also required. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong organization and documentation skills, and strong research and analytical skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development of RFx documents, scoring tools, and identification of prospective applicants/organizations/proposers/vendors.
  • Facilitate and manage the solicitation process, including pre-proposal conferences, Q&A, and development of supplemental documents.
  • Monitor proposal submissions and perform administrative review of proposals.
  • Perform reference checks and coordinate with third-party risk on due diligence activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for notification to awardee and non-awardees and support the Agreement Owners with the contract negotiation process.

Requirements:

  • College degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Procurement Agent or in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in CRM and inventory management software programs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organization and documentation skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
