About the Opportunity

Jobot is currently seeking an experienced Finance Contract Role candidate to join our team. This 6-month contract position offers a hybrid work option and is based in the Houston area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, providing valuable insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient accounts payable processes and procedures, leveraging expertise to drive business results and enhance financial performance.
  • Closing Processes: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial report preparation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of company policies, laws, and regulations, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating a willingness to adapt and contribute to the team's success.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in finance or a related field, preferably in the Energy industry, with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
  • Skill Set: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software experience, with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification: Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification is a plus, indicating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Compensation: $25-$32 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications, offering opportunities for career growth and advancement.
