Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance department and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling work and personnel to meet production demands, maintaining the preventative maintenance system, and working towards meeting our company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the efficiencies of our production lines, paying special attention to maintenance and mechanical trends.
  • Train, motivate, and direct employees to adhere to safe work methods and promote teamwork to achieve our goals.
  • Control labor costs and departmental overtime, while ensuring the safety of all employees.
  • Monitor machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and standards.
  • Seek continuous improvement from the Maintenance Department employees and the efficiencies of our production lines.
  • Assume full ownership of predictive and preventive maintenance activities, and continuously evaluate PM/PDM activities and frequencies.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or other technical degree program preferred.
  • 3 or more years of previous maintenance experience, with previous supervisory experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and calculate figures.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Knowledge and experience with Preventative Maintenance programs, and knowledge of Electronic and Electrical principals.
  • Must be able to effectively use computerized technology, and CAD/Drafting experience is desirable.
