Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist I PRN to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs laboratory procedures and calculates, transcribes and records test results.
  • Prepares and manages specimens for analysis, refers results to Pathology, correlates results and communicates and documents findings.
  • Assists with research, development, and/or validation of new policies, procedures and/or instruments.
  • Manages stock levels, rotation, and monitors expiration.
  • Performs maintenance procedures on laboratory instruments and/or equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience.
  • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - ASCP certification within one year.
