At Leidos, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Transport Network Engineer to join our team in Norfolk, VA. This exciting opportunity is part of the Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) Contract, where you will play a critical role in delivering the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet.

This position requires a strong background in network design, integration, test, security, and implementation of Network Services for the NMCI network. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing load balancing solutions to optimize network performance and ensure high availability for government applications.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for monitoring network traffic and analyzing performance metrics to identify and address current and potential issues. You will develop and enforce security policies and procedures related to network boundary traffic management, collaborate with other enterprise network teams and departments, and provide technical guidance for junior network engineers.

To be successful in this role, you will need a B.S. Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience. You must also be a U.S. Citizen and have a current DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

We offer a competitive salary range of $89,700.00 - $162,150.00, depending on your qualifications and experience. As a Senior Transport Network Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of IP network/subnet addressing, experience with Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) identity management solution, demonstrated NET/SEC DevOps experience, and ITIL v3/v4 certification/training.
