Job Title: Inverter Staff Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Inverter Staff Engineer to join our team at Keihin North America. As a key member of our xEV Regional PE group, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Inverter products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and evaluate new Inverter product processes and equipment.
  • Support the development of technology, resource, and production requirements.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities.
  • Support the resolution of manufacturing and production equipment problems.
Requirements:
  • 4-year University Degree in a related field and 5 years of related work experience.
  • Engineering skills, including knowledge of control systems, robotics, mechanics, pneumatics, optical inspection, and computer programming.
  • Ability to make quick, accurate, data-driven decisions and utilize excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy with both personal computers and manufacturing systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Work experience within the automotive industry, with an emphasis on electro/mechanical devices.
  • Knowledge of EV components, such as inverters and motors.
  • Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, etc.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing.
Work Environment:
  • Requires 25% travel - domestic and international (may include short-term assignments in foreign countries).
  • Open-office setting.
  • Factory setting with noise.
