Job Summary

This role is part of the xEV Regional PE group for Electric Vehicle products and will be responsible for supporting Inverter programs.

The purpose of this position is to ensure that production equipment operates to equipment specification and produces products based on product specifications, customer requirements, and regional requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evaluate new Inverter product processes and equipment
  • Support development of technology, resource, and production requirements
  • Support new business opportunity evaluation
  • Support M/P equipment problems and develop solutions
Requirements
  • 4-year University Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5 years related work experience
  • Engineering skills including knowledge of control systems, robotics, electronics, electrical test systems, optical inspection, and computer programming
  • Ability to make quick, accurate, data-driven decisions and utilize excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy with both personal computers and manufacturing systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Work experience within the automotive industry, with emphasis on high-power electronics or electronic devices
  • Knowledge of EV components such as inverters, power modules, or control modules
  • Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, etc.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing and principles IPC regulations
