Job Title: X-Ray Technician (Level II)

We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Technician (Level II) to join our team at the Bureau of Public Health Clinics (BPHC). The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting X-rays on patients at various BPHC clinics, supporting the training of newly hired X-ray techs, and maintaining quality control of X-ray machines.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct X-rays on patients at various BPHC clinics
  • Support the training of newly hired X-ray techs
  • Maintain quality control of X-ray machines
  • Prepare and position patients for taking X-Ray pictures according to standard procedures
  • Execute the proper digital radiography (DR) and synapse protocols
  • Complete patients' X-ray by correctly using radiation equipment
  • Supervise/Assist/Assess lower-level technologist work
  • Response to low to medium level issues
  • Prepare assignment schedules for lower X-ray Technologist to ensure systemwide coverage
  • Maintain operational records and prepares reports as needed
Requirements:
  • 2 or more years' experience working as an x-ray technician
  • Prior experience using PACS/RIS
  • Comfortable using an Electronic medical record
  • Microsoft suite Word, excel, outlook
  • Bi-lingual preferred
  • Good communication skills
Compensation:

This is an hourly paid temporary position at $46.00 per hour, 35 hours per week.
