Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, responding to inquiries and resolving billing and financial issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with patients, providers, and external departments to ensure accurate and timely billing and financial services.
- Record and maintain accurate transactions, ensuring account balances and discrepancies are resolved within the prescribed period.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to collect past due balances and improve patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least one year of customer service, healthcare, or office experience required; previous call center experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Windows-style applications and software packages specific to the role.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.
