Job Title: Director of Dining Services

ISH Dining Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Dining Services to lead our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of the Dining Services department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect the Dietary Department daily to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Plan and implement nutritionally balanced and therapeutic meals that meet the needs of our residents.
  • Direct and supervise all dietary functions and personnel, including food purchase, production, and service.
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs and expenditures, and work to meet budget guidelines.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of dietary staff.
  • Participate in department head meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Federal and State rules and regulations regarding nursing home dietary requirements.
  • CDM certification.
  • 1 year of food service management experience.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and follow CMS mandate/guidelines for vaccination.
